There is Something About the Outside of a Horse That is Good for the Inside of a Man

Just wanted to pop in and share a few shots I took on Monday when I hauled the crew around a bit. Through the years, I have taken advantage of those times when I am called upon to haul the crew from one part of the ranch to another.

This is a big place and over 20 miles from one end to the other, and you can bet I grab my camera every chance I get. These are two of the sweetest, hard-workin-est, horse savy-est  fellas ever.

Sorry gals, they are spoken for. :)
This one is too. LOL.
I didn't get any spectacular shots this time around, but I did print a few out and turn them into greeting cards.

Now I'll probably spend too much time browsing through the thousands of pictures I've taken throughout the years in search of more.

These are mostly just cowboys sitting on their horses. DH said, "We're not DOING anything." I told him, "Honey, it just doesn't get much better than a man on a horse."

You are so right. It just doesn't get much better than a cowboy on his horse. Good cowboys are so hard to find! Glad I have one! Your pictures are fabulous.

I can actually smell the leather and the horses! Only someone who has been around horses understands and appreciates that statement! Right?
Great pictures

The pride of a man doing a job worth doing on a horse worth riding.

I agree with everyone else. Your photos are stunning. You could do a sexy ranch hand calender and then hire a cook from the profits. LOL Any man in jeans, boots and cowboy hat is sexy, my man included.

By the way, he has been reading your blog. He is ready to help on the ranch (not much time on a horse, I think), but he would be a great help in the kitchen. He was gasping over your grocery shopping photos...seriously. He lives to cook. He makes a mean Venison stew(always the winner at church cook-off) and salsa that will cure a cold instantly. I told him he had to finish college first. I am so mean...hehehe.

blessings, jill

Your photos of men on horses is A OK with me. My dream man when I was a younger woman was the Marlborough Man. I guess to find one you need to be somewhere in the West, huh? lol
