...of the fabric variety. Everything's fine, I just thought that would be a cute title for this post. I added a few more bindings to my stack this week. It made me laugh and I thought it was a fun picture. And yes, these are all for tops that either I am going to quilt or that are at Jackie's. Although one is for a quilt I got back from a quilter in Missouri a few weeks ago and I am binding it right now

I sent this photo to a friend and told her to be wary of who she shares it with because if the authorities show up to take me away and commit me for quilting insanity, I was taking her with me. After all, I could use some help stitching all these bindings onto their respective quilts. ;

ReplyDeleteWOW! I'm trying to work up my nerve for 1 quilt binding and quilting a quilt. So far I'm still in the working on it stage. That's impressive.
ReplyDeleteI like binding. That is when the fabric finally can be called a quilt. Have fun! If I were close we would sit on the porch, watch the animals, and stitch until our fingers fall off.

Love your gingham binding--an oldie, but goodie, fabric that brings back a lot of memories. My mom made me a dress out of lavender gingham when I was in 8th grade.

You REALLY do have a lot of quilts waiting to be have their binding attached! I wish I had that many quilts finished or almost finished. I don't mind making and hand stitching a binding. It is very relaxing and I know the end is near. Just out of curiosity, what city in MO is the long armer from that did one of your quilts. I belong to a LA group and we meet quarterly.
ReplyDeleteWonderful idea! I usually use a material used in the quilt or backing for the binding. This could work for several quilts I have waiting.
