get up at 1:30 in the morning and bake cookies,
wash laundry,
and make HST's?
I am a champion sleeper. I need my sleep. And it is a rare night when I cannot sleep. Both DH and I were up at 1:30 this morning. He got up and read a little and watched a little TV.
I have a crew to feed this morning, but with the time change, they won't even be here until 6:30.
And according to my calculations,
I'll be about ready for a nap then!
A long day is in store for you my friend, hope you enjoyed the peaceful early morning hours :)
ReplyDeleteWhen sleep won't come, it's fruitless to stay in bed and toss and turn. Your early morning activities are at least productive. Wishing you a great day.
ReplyDeleteOh, I have nights like that, but since I usually get to bed late, it is more like 2 or 3 a.m. before I realize my efforts to sleep are ineffective.
ReplyDeleteBut I can't bake cookies, because hubby NEVER has nights like that, and the smell of baking cookies would wake him up. :)
I usually read or sew.
Hope you survive the day in your sleepless stupor, and can catch a nap somewhere along the way.
always have had trouble sleeping, need to figure how how to sew with out waking my hubby
ReplyDeleteI often can’t sleep and wake up in the middle of the night. Baking cookies is great, but go to bed at 8pm.
ReplyDeleteI have done the same thing exactly, except I went to bed at 1:30 a.m. and tried to sleep. At 3:30 after tossing and turning, I got back up and did some housework too. It does throw off the day for me and I get sleepy around 3:00 in the afternoon. Hope you get back on track.
ReplyDeleteI'm often still up at 1:30 but sometimes when I go to bed, even then, I don't fall asleep for a while. I have heard that if we just lie in bed our bodies will rest. I do that but I'm not sure it's true. I'm so sorry you weren't able to sleep. I hope you got a nap!
ReplyDeleteMust have been something in the air! We struggled too... but Ididn't think to make cookies... hmmm I need to think more like you!!
