The projects just keep coming. How does this happen?
Dear friends' daughter is getting married.
A sweet niece is expecting a baby.
More friends getting married.
Another baby is on the way.
A Rancher's Daughter quilt along is announced - can't pass that one up!
Let's learn to embroider. Oh, there's an embroidery hop - how convenient.
A baby shower for expectant mamas whose husbands' are deployed.
Don't read that blog. Oh - must make that table runner
Don't open that magazine. Need to make this quilt now!
Snoopy fabric? Well of course this house must have a Snoopy quilt!
Honestly! What's a gal to do? Just writing this makes me chuckle. It's crazy. And it's only the middle of February. I think I need an intervention...
and a few moments to pull fabrics for this quilt:

I am so with you! I have such good intentions and then....LOL!
Don't forget to sleep. LOL
So far I am doing good about not many new projects that weren't planned. I have two UFOs finished and one ready to go on the quilting frame. It's hard!! We quilters are like kids in a candy store...and yes I am going to the Lazy Sunday mystery yet.
Well put!! My quilting life right now is 'Anything BUT UFOs', no matter how hard I try!!
I love the green and turquoise pattern! Can you tell me where you found it?
What magazine is this quilt in, its adorable, I think I'll have another quilt on my list also!
Oh that road is paved with good intentions - ask me how I know? LOL
You don't need an intervention - because if you did then I'd need one, too. lol
An embroidery hop? Where? When? Do tell!
Yes, that's EXACTLY how it happens!! o:)
Yep! Sounds just about right! Add in a baby and you have a recipe for disaster! :-)
the best laid plans!!!! I have 4 quilts that need to be quilted, and then I have a few UFO"s that need attention. I really don't know how many UFO's I have. I do know that I have 4 twin sized quilts for the grand Daughters that I need to figure out what to make I have some fabric for it w fairies and flowers that all goes together. I want the pattern to be the same w the fabrics the difference. Help w the pattern would be appreciated.
Don't feel guilty for doing what you want to do! There's no UFO police out there. Situations change as the lives of those around us change, marriages, babies, etc. UFO's are like money in the bank. There to finish when needed. I frequently need a break from a long lasting project. So I go to a UFO, (sometimes) or start a new project (usually) that will be quick. It refreshes me and I can go back to that big project refreshed and with a better attitude.
I so hear you! I have one more baby quilt to make - so far thats it for now and I have time for my projects and ufos but this can change quite quickly. Your new project likes interesting - not to say that I like it alot too ;)
I know what you mean after I read your list a few posts back I thought I should really try and finish some things. Then I started 2 new aprons, 2 new quilts granddaughters blouses you get the picture. I giveup!!!!
You know yourself so well, but it's like you know me to. I've been a starter not a finisher of craft projects since I was 7! A latch hook rug kit!
Ummm...embroidery hop?! How did I miss that??? Please point me in the right direction, ma'am! :)
Oh yes! definitely pull fabric for that.
Wow! I have been out of the loop, I have not heard about the Rancher's Daughter or the embroidery one, either.
Don't forget we are going to make diamonds!
