Can tell from your terrific montage of photos that your son is the sunshine of your life. What a proud mom you are and have every right to be. Will pray for his safety while he is deployed and until he can give you a great big hug again.
Blessings and and prayers to you and your family.
What a wonderful son, Karin. I know that your are proud and concerned all at the same time. I will be saying a special prayer each day for his safe and speedy return. Hugs!
Blessings on you and your wonderful son! My most profound wishes for his safety as he goes into war!

Karin, my heart aches for you. I know one one hand how incredibly proud your are of him and on the other, how much you would have him stay nearby and safe. I *so* appreciate his sacrifice of service to our country and will be praying for "Karin's son in Afghanistan". Hugs! :)
Okay - the keys are swimming!! Oh, the things we have in common!! Though I don't have one in the military - the burden my sister carries, I too will carry!
Blessings to you Sweet Sister!!
He is such a doll! What a wonderful young man you have raised...you SHOULD be proud and I know you are.
He knows the Lord and there is no safer place than the center of God's will. I will pray for his protection and comfort for his family. Sending big hugs from KS sweet friend!

Karin, I am so close to tears right now.. mind you I am menopausal! I am so proud of your son, he comes from a special family, and is going now to protect all of us, even those of us overseas.. I will be thinking of you, and I wish you all the very best..
Oh Karin, I thought it must be a special birthday and I was smiling looking at these photos and the love you have for him - until the last one and then the tears came so suddenly. I've had a little glimpse into both your kids growing up through this blog for years now. What an amazing family God has given you! I will be praying for all of you.
They will always be our baby boys....

Oh my ....with tears in my eyes, I want you to know that your pictures reflect a beautiful child - now man. Got me to think of my babies back then - now all grown and living their lives. I will keep your son in my prayers as well as you. Take care.

Praying...
I had the same thought as newsgirl...must be a birthday, looking, smiling until the last pic. I have goosebumbs and watery eyes. You must be proud and concerned at the same time. My thoughts and prayers are send towards you, your son and his safty.
Dear God, Protect this young man and keep him safe. Comfort and strengthen his mom and may the days go by quickly until he returns. Hugs and heartfelt thanks to you and your son for his service!
So proud and happy for you...but I'm also saying lots of prayers for his safe return.
What a wonderful looking boy. Will pray for his safe return home. I understand your joy and sorrow at this time, I had a daughter in the Navy and a son in the army. Both went overseas.
Stay safe ,
Debbie
Karin, That was just beautiful! What a wonderful son!
What a wonderful tribute to your son! He obviously makes you very proud! And he's quite the handsome young man in that spiffy uniform! Just know that we send prayers for his safety while he's over there, and we're all grateful for his service!
From our military family to yours.....blessings!
Ah, Karin! My heart goes out to you!
What a wonderful collection of photos and memories. You are a blessed woman and best of all, you know it. Prayers for you, your family and for your brave son. Please thank him for his service and thank YOU for your sacrifice.
Dearest Karin,
Thank you for posting on Love You More Than You Know, and your prayers for our troops.
Love your post about your son. What a handsome Marine. I will be holding you both in prayer.
Love Janie
Ps Would you consider sharing your story about your Marine on my site. I would be honored.
I love that boy and I've never met him! I'll pray for his safe return.
Adding him (and you) to my prayer list today. :-)
Such a lovely bunch of photos.
Great entertainment and enjoyment in the different moment.Baby look so sweet on the horse. It really great moment enjoyment.
Just found your blog but you sweet lady and your wonderful son, please know you are both appre-ciated and on our minds daily. I understand your heart flutters and skips a beat. My daughter is a contractor and will be there one week a month with the rest of the month spent "safely" in the middle east. As a member of the military family for more than 45 years, the best advice I have is just keep breathing on day at a time until you can hold them close again.

Lots of prayers -- for his safety and quick return.
