That is the question...
Often, I wish I had joined up with Judy and everyone else in the weekly stash report. On the weeks I do things like use 12 yards for the back of a quilt - yes, I did that recently with the Western Many Trips Quilt - I think, "WOW - that would be fun to report!"
But then there are those weeks when Tony drives up in his big brown truck and staggers towards me with a big box...
Or when my truck just stops entirely on it's own accord right in front of a quilt shop...
Truth be told, there are probably more of those weeks than the 'use 12 yards' weeks and then I think:
"WHEW! Thank goodness I don't have to report THAT!"

LOL!! Would that I *ever* had a 'use 12 yards' week!! I don't know that I'll participate again next year, but I will say that it has been an eye opening experience ... forcing me to be more--aware--of my purchases and acquisitions!
What a fun little pile of goodies you've got pictured there!! :)
I had to laugh at that, bc I bought 8+ yds (it was on sale) while visiting my Uncle and cousins, then another possibly 30 yds at joanns last w/e It was on SALE!!! and I had a coupon for 20% off I couldn't pass it up!!!!
glad I don't have to actually repoprt any of that too. DH has long since stopped asking what it is for!
Oh these will make some lovely quilts!!! I thought I was the only one with that vehicle problem - why drive to town and NOT RUN OUT OF FUEL right at Deborah's!
Blessings
LOL!
Oh, you know I am giggling!
And I'm right with you!
I just hate it when my car makes a stop at my favorite quilt shop and bags just somehow jump in my car....seems to have happened a bunch lately :-)!
Funny, I think no report is probably the way to go, even though sometimes it does look cool.
I agree. I keep a running tally on my sidebar, but I will probably only update it once a month. And it will be 'loosely' based on more memory than actual accounting.
It is funny, but my truck does the same thing;-) LOL The trouble they get us into.
blessings, jill
Just look at those fabrics! So pretty and so innocent looking. You would never know that they conspired their way into your stash. Yet they just sent out a tractor beam and drew your truck right to a stop at the quilt shop. The online shop for sure must have some kind of tracking device that opens your computer to their site and the fabric just jumps into your cart and then into the box with your mailing label on it. You know the power of the fabric will win everytime. It is useless to resist ... ;) Pat
I have to say the brown truck stopped at my place twice last week. I can blame equilter.com for having a sale and free shipping. There will be no reporting of my deep dark secret LOL
All I can say is, "There's pink in that pile! Did you know that?!!"
Ahhhh, now I am caught up with your blog! =)
I enjoyed spending my morning with you!
