because every new baby gets a book from me. I am known as the book Aunt, and family or not, if a child gets a gift from me, it will include a book.

Yes, I know. It is NOT something you would ever think I would even THINK of buying. But Teri is a lover of all things sparkly and all things shoes. This actually fell into my cart as I walked past so I took it as a sign that God wanted her to have it. :) She is a principal (super lucky kids and teachers in that school!) , and this will be right at home on her desk and before the day is out, she will have pictures of her darling grandson peeking at her over piles of papers.
Darling friend, you are a treasure to all of your past students and all of those who have the blessing of crossing paths with you in life. I know that you and Jimmy will be the most amazing grandparents. Congratulations and don't forget to send me pictures!

Just adorable!! Love that you added the book! My theme for Xmas gifts last year was making pillowcases that go with books for the wee ones. Lots of fun! The year before it was stuffed owl pillows and the book "Owl Moon". Like you, I try to incorporate book giving each time I gift a child/baby! ~karen

Such a nice gift, and love the shoe pic holder!! You can never go wrong with a book. I give alot of them too. I am reading Killing Lincoln by Bill O'Reilly. I am really enjoying it. I also read his book Killing Kennedy.He has Killing Jesus coming our in Sept. Have you ever read Two from Galilee by Marjorie Holmes? It is an older book but very good. It is fiction about Mary and Joseph.

Your little duck quilt turned out fabulous. Those ducks are so adorable. I'm sure mom and baby will both love it. Cuddle time will be more cuddly because of it! (And you were so fast getting it done!)
