The quilts to be bound are piling up and I love it. I finished the Oink-a-Doodle-Moo Baby quilt while I was at my Mom's, but I also took along another one that I had started to bind a few weeks ago:
I seem to make lots of extra blocks when I make some quilts, and the down side to that is that I just start sewing and don't take the time to count. The upside? I get a bonus quilt!
Another shot from my cruise through Fredricksburg:
Here's the post abut the original quilt. This ended up being 68 x 80. I used a blue sketch on the back and made a scrappy binding. Jackie used my favorite pattern on this quilt. The dragonflies:
She quilted another quilt for me with this pattern and I just now realized I hadn't shared it yet. Stay tuned. As for this one...I called DD's quilt the Dirt Road Gypsy Quilt and this is the Baby Gypsy Quilt, and I'm keeping it. :)

i like that rusty horseshoe drink holder...the quilts are lovely
Often times in the evening you can find me my binding/stitching chair, as well. :-)
I love that quilt. The pictures in Fredericksburg are incredible, Karin.
That's a lovely quilt pattern, and it's nice to have a bonus quilt with what seems no extra effort. Your dragonfly quilting is so pretty! I was wondering what is holding your water glass?
It is a wonderful quilt. I went back to your daughters Gypsy quilt and think it is just beautiful. I bet she fell head over heals for it. I have never made that large of a quilt. I don't know how you can get up so early and do all you do. Congratulations on two beautiful quilts.
The colorful blocks seem to pop off the quilt!
Your photos are wonderful.
Really love your Gypsy quilt. I too have a binding chair, but must confess -- yours looks more comfortable. I might have a hard time staying awake in yours! Is your drink holder something you've made from the ranch? It looks interesting.
Karin, while I like looking at your quilts, I'm intrigued by the cup holder in the second picture. Is it made out of horseshoes? (I know, the things that catch one's eye!)
Love the quilt ! The baby quilt will come in handy at your house one day !
Your binding chair looks so comfy! Thanks for sharing these gorgeous quilts today.
Isn't it fun when you get a two-fer out of making a quilt?! Especially ones that looks as lovely as those above!! I love your 'binding' chair! Although it would probably be more like a 'sleeping' chair for me! Haha! :)
Oh you crack me up! Yay for lots of extra blocks! Bonus quilts are the best!
