Unfortunately we couldn't fit them under the tree and ours aren't quite as cute as this fella,
but nevertheless, we're grateful that, with God's help, we now have cows that belong to us. Yes, we still manage the ranch, but it was time to start investing in our future. Someone once asked if we'd been to Vegas and liked to gamble. We don't need to go to Vegas to gamble - every day in the cattle business is a gamble, but DH knows cows and God has opened doors, so with a lot of prayer we're moooving 😂forward.

Happy Christmas to you! Someone asked me once if the farmer and I every went to a casino. I told them we don't need to make a special occasion out of gambling, we're farmers, we gamble for our living. Happy New Year to you, maybe you have plenty of rain at the right time.
Alleluia! All the best for the New Year ... and rain. ;^)
Exciting news indeed! Pictures of your cows will of course be welcome, even if they are not this glamorous.

It's not just beef cattle that are a gamble. All of production agriculture is a gamble. We're betting on good growing and harvesting weather, healthy livestock, market prices and more.
YAY COWS!! Glad you've got a start on your own herd!
