Soggy

Around here we celebrate days like this

They are few and far between here in the desert and everyone's happy when it's wet:

When it gets like this, the roads are too wet to get around and we don't want to tear them up:

So DH is using the morning to catch up on errands in town. Skeet says: "If you're going. I'm going.":

But we convinced him that playing in the puddles would be more fun:

The pens are absolutely sodden:

Muck boots are a necessity

Our beef is sporting the latest in cow couffure...apparently ear feathering is in:

I may be well on my way to becoming a hermit, but there is no shortage of company around here:

I think I'm going to celebrate with a bit of sewing!

The rain can be a blessing or a curse, depending on your location and need. I am happy for you to be getting needed moisture. I know we have rejoiced in the few wet days we have had this month.
And now you have a really good excuse to be sewing. :)

I love that last picture of all your company!! Four different animal breeds, obviously well aware of one another, enjoying the puddles.
I really liked that quilt you showed last post, the one on point, bright colors with white sashing.

MAN! You must be under the same huge cloud we're under..been going ALL DAY! We could do with a good drying out for awhile. Could've used more of this during the summer but we'll take it, filling up the lakes nicely. Definitely a good day to sew and I've done a little.

Woohoo!! congrats on the rain Karin. Now please send those clouds this way :) It's Oct, we should be getting some rain soon. We often have a rainy Halloween, so here's hoping the rain comes this year soon! Have a great day sewing.

Good rains are a blessing! Skeet is such a faithful companion, take advantage of the conditions to sew and rest!
