A Fun Age

I think every age is a fun age and I try to always look upon each year with a sense of adventure. However, today's post focuses on the escapades of 3-yr olds. Our boy was home for a quick visit the weekend before Labor Day and he brought this little monkey and his Mama:

Warning: this is a picture heavy post. I just can't help it:

Everything's an adventure when you're 3:

And I love seeing the world through the eyes of a child:

Just add dirt. And yes, that's a cow pie next to him:

 Kitties:

And puppies:

A good story:

A dose of  horse:

Digging for treasure:

And a very cool tractor:

DH had to drag the arena and little T was glued to the fence the whole time:

He was so cute

as he climbed into the cab:

And settled in

Onto DH's lap:

 to take the wheel:

It was a good weekend:

Oooh, that little guy had quite the adventure-filled weekend. The smile he has sitting in the tractor is priceless.

Enjoyed each of the pictures! He is precious! And what little boy or girl wouldn’t enjoy a stay on the farm! Especially yours, where they were able to see and experience such neat and interesting things! Don’t need any electronic screens!!
I need to try backing a quilt with minky fabric, I have heard it’s difficult to work with, do you have any “tricks” in dealing with it?

So cute--but felt a little sad for the cat. Your DH looks like a natural for Grandparent.

Oh, I can so relate to this. Our oldest daughter and her 3 year old daughter were here with us for 10 days last month. I think I have almost recovered. :)
Looks like your little guy had a ton of fun!!

So sweet! Looks like a good time was had by all (except maybe the kitty! HA). Does your son have horses at his place? Looks like the little one is pretty ranch saavy already.
